How many hours do I get on a monthly retainer?
It depends on the plan. Essential clients typically get a few hours a month for content edits and small fixes alongside core maintenance. Growth and Custom plans scale up based on what you actually need — we will recommend a level that matches your real workload rather than upselling you on hours you will not use.
What's your response time when something breaks?
For active retainer clients, we respond to urgent issues — a site down, a security incident, a checkout breaking — within a few business hours. Non-urgent requests are handled on a regular weekly cadence. We are honest about our capacity and will tell you upfront what to expect rather than making promises we cannot keep.
What's NOT included in a website support retainer?
Retainers cover maintenance, small content updates, performance work, and SEO monitoring — not full redesigns, large new feature builds, or bespoke development projects. Hosting fees, premium plugin licenses, and third-party subscriptions are also separate. Anything outside the retainer scope gets quoted as a discrete project so you always know what you are paying for.
Do you only work with WordPress sites?
WordPress is our specialty — it powers most of our retainer book — and we are deeply experienced with WooCommerce, Astra, GreenShift, Rank Math, LiteSpeed, and the rest of the common stack. We also support Astro and other modern frameworks for clients with custom builds. If your platform is a fit and the work plays to our strengths, we are happy to talk.
Are there long-term contracts?
No. All retainers are month-to-month so you can scale up, scale down, or pause if your needs change. We earn the relationship every month rather than locking you into a year-long commitment. That keeps us focused on actually delivering value.
