AI DATA INTEGRATION · PORTLAND, OR
Your data is in five places. AI can't read any of them.
We consolidate your business data into one system you own, then build the parts that let AI actually work with it. No lock-in, no rebuild on someone else's platform.

Here is what usually happens. You try an AI tool, ask it something real about your own business, and it has no idea. It doesn't know which customers churned last quarter. It doesn't know what you charged them. It can write you a nice email about nothing in particular.
Your data is the problem.
Your customer list is in the CRM. Your invoices are in QuickBooks. Your job history is in a spreadsheet one person maintains. Your email threads are the real record of what was agreed, and they're in somebody's inbox. Every one of those is fine on its own. Together they're five answers to the same question.
Ask any AI tool to work across that and it can't, because nothing connects them.
What AI data integration means
AI data integration is connecting your business systems so their data lands in one place. Structured well enough that an AI model can query it and give you an answer you'd trust.
It has two halves. The first one is unglamorous:
1. Consolidation.
Get the data out of the tools it's trapped in and into one store, with the same customer meaning the same customer everywhere.
2. Access.
Build the layer that lets a model read that store, answer questions against it, and show you where the answer came from.
Most of the work is the first half. That's the part people skip, and it's why the second half disappoints them.
Why consolidation has to come first
Give an AI model one spreadsheet and it answers questions about one spreadsheet. Give it an export where the same customer appears four times under three spellings, and it answers confidently and wrongly. That's worse. You can't tell by looking.
So we start boring. We find every place you keep data. We work out which copy is the real one and reconcile the rest to it. Most of what we find is dull. A field nobody filled in since 2022. Two tools that disagree about who the customer is. An export that silently truncates at 1,000 rows. Boring is good. Boring is fixable.
Then AI has something to work with. Though if your data is already clean and in one place, you don't need us for this part, and we'll say so.
You own the result
We don't move your business onto a platform you then have to keep renting.
You keep your consolidated data somewhere you control, in formats you can export whole, and we document the connections between your tools well enough that another developer could pick them up. If you stop working with us, you keep everything and it keeps running.
That's not generosity, it's self-interest. Work that only runs while we're holding it isn't work you can build on, and we'd rather you built on it.
Worth being precise about what we mean. We use Claude and ChatGPT to do the work, the same as anyone. What we don't do is give your customer list to a vendor and let them keep it. Using a model to answer a question is not the same as paying a company to mind your data, and most AI projects blur the two.
The trade-off: vendor-neutral takes longer up front than buying a suite that promises to do it all. You're paying once in setup to avoid paying forever in lock-in. If you'd rather move fast and accept the lock-in, that's a real choice and some businesses should make it.
The same argument at personal scale: keep your own data.
What this isn't
We don't build customer-service chatbots. We don't resell you a Microsoft or OpenAI package and call it a strategy. We're not going to put a chat widget on your website and tell you that's AI adoption.
This is plumbing. Nobody demos plumbing. The demo only works if somebody did it.
How we work
We start with a conversation. You walk us through where your data lives and what you want to ask of it. We map the systems, find where the copies disagree, and come back with an estimate for the work.
Consulting is $150 an hour. You get the estimate before anything starts, so you are deciding against a number rather than a feeling.
Sometimes the estimate is small. Sometimes your data is not ready and the first job is three fixes in the CRM rather than a project with us. We will say so. Though if you want the work done anyway, we will do it and tell you what it is worth.
Diviner is a great choice if…
- Your data is spread across several tools and you already feel it
- You want to own the result rather than rent it
- You'd rather hear "not yet" than be sold a project
- You care more about an answer you can trust than a demo that looks good
Diviner is a terrible choice if…
- You'd rather pay the Silicon Valley tax and let Microsoft or Anthropic mind your data
- You want a customer-service chatbot. That's a real need, just not ours
- You need this finished next week
- You already keep your data in one well-maintained system
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a data warehouse?
Probably not at your size. A warehouse is a particular answer to this problem and it's usually aimed at companies with a data team to run it. Most small businesses need something smaller and better maintained. We work out which one you are in the first conversation.
Will this work with QuickBooks, my CRM, my spreadsheets?
If it has an API, we can connect it. That covers QuickBooks, every CRM worth using, Google Sheets, and most of what a small business runs on. We also connect tools that speak MCP, which is how a lot of software is starting to expose itself to AI. Bring us the list and we will tell you which ones are straightforward and which ones are not.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many systems you have and how far apart they have drifted. Nobody can answer this before looking, so you get an estimate before the work starts instead of a number we made up.
What happens to my data if we stop working together?
You keep it. It is in a store you control and a format you can export. We document the connections as part of the work, so somebody else can pick it up.
Can we keep our data away from the AI vendors entirely?
Yes, and we would be glad if you did. Open models are the better answer in the long run. You own the model, the hardware and the data, and nobody can change the terms on you later. The cost today is speed. They are slower than Claude or ChatGPT, which is why most work still runs through those. If you want to run your own, we will set it up, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
