Why I built this

I’ve been doing digital marketing for over 20 years. One thing I kept seeing with my clients — whether they were restaurants, law firms, or fitness studios — was that reviews were the single biggest lever for local visibility, and almost nobody was doing it well.

The tools that existed were built for enterprise. Birdeye, Podium, Reputation.com — they’re powerful, but they cost hundreds or thousands a month. My clients are small businesses. They can’t justify that spend. So they’d do nothing, or they’d send one-off texts and hope for the best.

I wanted to build something that gave small businesses real review management tools at a price point that made sense. Not a stripped-down version of an enterprise product — something designed from scratch for the way small businesses actually work.

The philosophy

Prompt Reviews is “human first, AI assisted.” A lot of review platforms lean into automation — automated email blasts, auto-generated responses, auto-everything. I think that approach hurts more than it helps. Your customers can tell when a response is canned. Your prospects can tell when a review sounds manufactured.

So Prompt Reviews takes a deliberate stance: AI helps your customers write better reviews, but it never replaces their voice. Outreach is easy to manage, but it’s never automated. You respond to reviews yourself, with context and care. The result is authentic social proof that actually builds trust.

What it does

Prompt Pages

Branded review capture pages that make it easy for customers to leave reviews. Create universal pages, location-specific pages, or pages for individual products, services, or employees. Each page gets a designable, printable QR code for in-store use.

AI assisted reviews

An AI assistant called Prompty helps customers write reviews — not write reviews for them. Customers can use “AI Generate” to get a starting point or “Fix my grammar” to clean up what they’ve written. You can configure keyword suggestions and dos/don’ts so the AI nudges customers toward SEO-relevant language. But the customer always edits and owns their words.

Emoji feedback flow

A feedback-first flow where unhappy customers can share their concerns directly with you instead of posting a negative public review. It’s not review gating — it complies with Google’s policies — it’s just giving people a private channel when they need one. Embeddable in emails, websites, and auto-responders.

Review campaigns

Drag-and-drop campaign management for proactive review collection. Upload contacts, create personalized outreach pages, set reminders, and track who you’ve asked. The philosophy: outreach should be easy, not automated.

Google Business Profile management

Read and respond to reviews from your dashboard. Schedule GBP posts. Analyze review sentiment. Monitor profile changes with alerts. Manage multiple profiles at once. No auto-responses — you stay in control of your brand’s voice.

LLM visibility tracking

Track how your brand shows up across AI platforms — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude. See which websites inform LLM mentions and how your visibility changes over time. This is the new frontier: LLMs love reviews, and businesses with strong review profiles are more likely to be cited in AI-generated answers.

Keyword concepts & geo grid tracking

Go beyond individual keywords. Group review phrases, search terms, LLM tracking, and geo grid scans into themed “concepts” that track your visibility by customer intent. Geo grid tracking shows your local search visibility on a map, so you can see exactly where you rank across your service area.

How it’s built

Prompt Reviews is a full SaaS platform — web app, API, and integrations. It connects to the Google Business Profile API for review management, uses multiple LLM APIs for visibility tracking, and runs its own infrastructure for campaign management, QR generation, and analytics. The WordPress marketing site is separate from the app itself.
